BIG TIME SOFTBALL - SMALL TOWN HOSPITALITY

The lyrics from the inspirational masterpiece entitled “America the Beautiful” must have been penned after a visit to our pristine valley.

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!

God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

The Pacific Northwest Cascade mountain range have been often compared to the Swiss Alps.  A drive to the east most reaches of Skagit county not only allow you to take in these breath-taking mountain pinnacles but will also let you see the vast bald eagle sanctuaries revered by the Native Americans since antiquity.
